    Kb3022345 ?

Not really sure what this KB was supposed to do https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/kb/3022345 but after its install, happened to look in Reliability history to find it reported that the Diagnostics Tracking service was reported as stopped.

In services.msc saw there were three Diagnostics services showing as started but none listed as the Tracking service and Event Viewer had recorded it as stopping unexpectedly - guess it was as surprised as I was but that it would restart it after 30000ms, although there wasn't a corresponding event to show that it had restarted.

Anyway, I uninstalled the update and then reinstalled it and checked services again to find that it was now listed and showing as Started and Auto.

Anyone with a similar experience with this day or so old WU ?

Update on this - installed the KB on my other laptop and no problems whatsoever, so perhaps just another WU glitch.

KB 3022345 is known to be buggy. This link article doesn't match your exact symptoms, but it may explain the Reliability Monitor reports just the same.

I see you've found my other related thread to this which produced other problems.
