I've got it, paid for it, just a few days ago I needed it to restore an image for the first time. The progress bar reached about 10%, then the machine froze, had to use the power button to bring it back to life. Still no explanation, so much for "One Click" operation!

    David,

    I'm confused this is a disk partition/formatting program not a backup/imaging program?

Disk Management Software for Laptop, PC and Workstation with one scalable solution of disk management, partition recovery and clone. Organize hard disk volume configuration for optimal performance, while keeping data safe.
    Looks like both!
I have not checked it out, I think I just like downloading things

I know such things from that source are monie$ free, however, what is the unspoken "cost" to us?

Well enlighten me, I have not got a clue. I don't do the 'like' thing. I also have not installed it I do have my suspicions too!

    EaseUS is a great program!

I have the free version that I can install on any number of PC's and I use it almost daily, for partitioning hard drives, reformatting partitions and Flash Drives, changing drive letters, and all that HD stuff.
But I don't use it for doing Backups. I have Ghost 11.5 for that.

I think I got my FREE copy from "Giveaway of the day". (maybe?)

    Cheers Mates!

Agree with the good Dr. as far as partitioning. For backups, I've been using EaseUS ToDo Backup free v.4.0.0.2 for years, and have just begun working with free v.8.3. It's fine for backups, including System (not scheduled) and Drive/Partition, including scheduled, incremental or differential, auto version cleanup, etc. - many of the things I originally bought Acronis for, then found they didn't work - at least not automatically.
