    Interesting read. From what I understand of this exploit, it takes advantage of a VMs floppy drive configuration. Not sure if disabling the floppy in the VM configuration is a fix or not.

    VMs are not normally created with floppy disks created or enabled, so this exploit is most likely to affect real machines that have been converted to VMs - the floppy and com ports are automatically created unless you choose not to. Turning off the floppy, which can be done in real time, should limit the problem.
