distribute data over a length of time

I have a spreadsheet that has tasks w timelines and has a complexity rating. This works fine when I want to plot out by start how we are doing. I have been asked to distribute the rating over the course of the task. This way we can see how we are doing at any given point. Any idea how to do this?

    thanks in advance

    HI Zeddy,
That is exactly what I am looking for. Now how do I do this?

    Hi Dave

    I re-organized the data!
OK, its not an effective solution, but I just wanted to get pointed in the right direction.
    Here's my cheat file attached.

I'm travelling for a couple of days, so maybe others here will provide a more elegant solution for you.

Dave, Here is an alternate approach. Enter a complexity and the value will be time stamped and the graph updated for that task. You can enter complexities at any intervals. New tasks can be initiated (up to 10) by changing the name and/or start entering complexities. The new task will show after it has more than one complexity assigned to it. You can manually adjust past complexities by making changes directly on Sheet 2.
