    PowerPoint 2003 macro?

I want to create a button which will enable me to Paste Unformatted Text (to avoid the current 2 stage process via Paste Special).

To do this I gather I need to first create a macro which will be always be available in PowerPoint (I'm using 2003). I understand there is a way of doing this via an add-in but can anyone point me in the right direction please?

Or is there an easier/better way?

    Thanks.

Create the macro and save it to a powerpoint addin file (ppam). You will need to include a qat or ribbon customisation to display a button which allows you to run the code. An alternative is to include a keyboard command to run the command or macro directly. I normally associate Ctrl-Alt-V with Paste Special to do the same.

Once those customisations are done, you place the addin into the addins folder...

2003 doesn' t have a ribbon and you will find it very hard to run from a keyboard shortcut in PowerPoint

You will need to read this:

Thanks to both. Problem sorted now (although PowerPoint doesn't make it easy!).
