    Turn off numbered indents?

When I am writing a list of items, Word decides to create a special indent/tab process. How/where do I turn this off so that numbered items [ 1), 2), ...] Will just stay where I put them -- not move, not create tabs, just stay put?

    Regards,

File > Options > Proofing > AutoCorrect Options > AutoFormat As You Type > Apply as you type > Automatic numbered lists

And just be thankful that Microsoft changed the GUI to make it easier to find things
