Need something similar to Excel's cell comments

    Hello All,

I am sorry to ask this question in this lounge, but truly it does have to do with MS-Word 2010. In MS-Excel you can have a cell comment. It will display in a "bubble" once you select that cell.

I have a calendar of events and it looks like a grid with the names of the days on top, and the number of day (1-31) in the upper left corner of the square. I want to put the time of the event in that square and have it display the event details (where, what, who, why) once the user click or hover the mouse pointer on the time in a "bubble" like the MS-Excel comment.

I looked at the Cross-Reference thing in MS-Word, but you have to link it to text already in the document which defeats the purpose of having the nice stylish appealing grid. Or am I missing something?

Thanks for any advice, development or otherwise.

    Thank You Andrew

But I do not see Insert > Comment on my ribbon. Is it hidden or do I need to install anything extra?
