    upgrade to XP

    I am now using Windows 95. Will the new Windows Xp make my system work better and what type of problems will I run into?

    It depends what do you mean by the word "better". Generally, Windows XP is more stable than Win95 and has more features. But it consumes more resources and its requirements for hardware is higher (you must check Microsoft webpage for compatibility list (<A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.microsoft.com/hcl/default.asp>http://www.microsoft.com/hcl/default.asp</A>), but in most cases, if your computer was made before 2000, forget about WinXP.)

    I do not consider any product that includes the Registration/Activation Wizard to be an Upgrade. It is a throw back to be bad old days of Copy Protection. One problem that you may run into is that the Registration/Activation code may, at the worst possible moment, decide that you are not a legal user and not allow you to boot your system.
