    Show us your stuff

Computer related art and retouching has been a hobby of mine for over a dozen years. I've uploaded some of my work at Flickr (a lot more at ImageShack but they don't have a great way of showing all of your work like Flickr does). Anyway, my Flickr page is at link below. Been working on Wormholes again of late since I discovered a cool way of creating them. Below's also an example of one. Anyway, for those in the profession or just a hobby, I would like to see some of your stuff too. Inspire me.

"leaving the station" looks like it's in the UK, but I don't recognise it. Whereabouts?

I assume you're manipulating a scan or digital photograph, is that right?

Reference link at my flickr for it access-mdb. Tom at DPR shared the image for play. He still hasn't removed it from the original post at DPR. Yes; I do what is called photo-artography. Actual painter I'm not. lol

Filters and know-how are my brushes and tools of the trade.

OK, thanks, he didn't say where it is. I did wonder if it was yours as it was the only non-USA picture I saw of yours! I will have a play with FotoSketcher as I haven't seen it before. I have 'rescued' photos where they were good apart from one aspect (usually fatal), normally where focussing has been suspect. This was using CS2/the Gimp/Picasa to convert them to 'art'. I put art in quotes as I'm no artist.

    Thanks again.

Yes; lycopenes are good for you.

Why not more wormholes. Just wanted to share more of my madness with you all.

Still no takers? Anyway, I only recently discovered how to create Organic Labyrinths (well close enough anyway). It only took me about a decade to figure out how (on and off; I try to never give up. OCD that way. lol). Just wish Karan would have shared his code. lol

Anyway, below's a result using the Traveling Salesman approach. Not as clean as I would like but effective imo. Yes, this is a single path (i.e., if you were to unfurl this, it would make a giant circle).

"By Grabthar's hammer, by the Sons of Warvan, you shall be avenged!"

    ref: http://static1.wikia.nocookie.net/__...46/Lazarus.png

I know most folk knows him as Snapes, but he will always be remembered as Dr. Lazarus to me. Sad to hear that Alan Rickman passed away earlier today. I was so hoping for a reunion of Galaxy Quest, but alas, there never will be without Mr. Rickman (yes; know already that there's going to be a TV series on Amazon Prime; still not the same to me). So long, Alan; you will be missed.
