How to move Outlook profile settings to new PC?

I want to find an easy way of exporting / importing my Outlook Profile to a new PC.

I have numerous email accounts, and numerous PST files that I connect to as archives. To set all of this up takes a whole lot of time, and I would like to simply sync all the archive PST files across to the new PC, import the profiles and carry on working. Is this possible, or am I dreaming..... ?

You might consider using Windows Easy Transfer.

Thanks for the tip - I had a look and Windows Easy Transfer only applies to Win7 and earlier.

    Any other options?

You didn't mention your Windows version.

You might consider using a cloud storage option like OneDrive.

    Hi jwoods
The Windows versions are Windows 8.1 and Windows 8.1 - using Office 365.

I unfortunately don't follow your train of thought relating to using OneDrive to transfer the Outlook Profile settings. Could you elaborate perhaps?

Here's a couple of articles that may help - Moving Outlook to a new Windows computer and Windows 8, Windows 8.1 and Outlook.

I've successfully migrated Outlook Profiles by exporting the registry key at

    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows Messaging Subsystem\Profiles\Outlook]

and reimporting it into the new machine registry. It usually requires a double check at the Control Panel Mail item and reentry of the email account passwords. But it surely saves the entry of a half dozen email accounts of various types.

    YMMV. Phil
