    sulfnbk.exe question

What is this file? [sulfnbk.exe] It is found under Comand Com on my computer. I run Windows 98 (not second edition). The question comes up because I recieved a multiforwareded e-mail that says that this file is a virus that forewards itself to all addresses in Outlook (I never store e-mail addresses in outlook) and then destroyes the C: drive. It also states that it contains a 14 day delay before actuating. The e-mail says to delete it and then remove it from the recycle bin. My simple question is--is this a hoax? Or is it a legitamate problem? Norton anti-virus scanned it and found no virus.

Thank you very much for the information. I really appreciate it. I have learned to trust Norton, but my e-mailing cousin does not understand. The explanation should help her, and probably all the people she sends it out to, to think more clearly. I am very appreciative of Woody's lounge and the people who "live" here. Please have a cheerful day? No it is evening where you live. Enjoy the evening.
