Windows Live Mail - question about "blocking" emails

I run WLM on my W7 SP1 desktop. I'm having the following problem in blocking emails from my in-basket:
Something shows up in my in-basket that I consider "junk."
I add the sender to the blocked-list.
I add the sender's domain to the "blocked-list.

I still get the emails from that sender in my in-box.

How do I get this 'feature' in WLM to work, so that I can have this "junk" go to my junk folder?

    Thanks for your help,
    Dick

    Doesn't anyone here use WLM?

It is relatively easy to fake what is displayed versus what the email header actually contains. Have you check the email header?

    Joe:
Thanks for responding. Can you give me an example of what I would look for in the email header. and how that could be used to accomplish what I asked about when I started this thread?
    Dick
    PS,
Sorry I'm so dense about what you are suggesting.

The email originator. Who is set as the response address.
