Print dialog box slow to open

I worked on my sisters computer The OS Windows 7 Home Premium (brother printer) Her problem was “Print dialog box slow to open” After checking the print queue, I found and deleted 56,134 jobs !! (See attached pic) I can't figure out why it got that many? Can anyone help me figure this out?

When you right click on the printer icon in Devices and Printers and select Printer Properties/Advanced is there anything listed for keeping documents that you can uncheck ?

Do you still see jobs sitting in the queue after printing?
