    Windows 10 Upgrade Not Wanted

I am fully satisfied with my Windows 7 OS and I have no desire to upgrade.
What is the best way to tell windows Updates you DO NOT want Windows 10 and never to bother you again?

    From yesterday's Windows Secrets newsletter:

If you find Microsoft’s marketing ploy annoying, making the “Get Windows 10″ icon/app disappear is relatively easy.
In Windows Update, locate and uninstall KB 3035583. Locate it in the Windows Update list of patches to be installed and hide it.

What you should know about the Win10 launch

One does not need to be dissatisfied w/ a prior OS nor have a broken-in-any-way prior OS for there to be good reason for moving to Windows 10. This is far more than just another OS. Computing will be Win10 sooner or later, anyway. Then, there is saving $200+...

Moving to Win10 is prudent, sensible, timely & wise.

    Cheers,

Not for everyone on July 29th, however...read Susan Bradley's Newsletter column on the launch.

I'll be keeping one of my two Win 7 laptops as is, as I will need it for any printing/scanning.

While I can get Win 8.1 drivers for printing, the scanner part isn't Win 8.1 compatible so it probably won't be for Win 10 either.
