Problems restoring folders to original location
I moved several of my folders from my laptop to my external hard drive some time ago. When I attempt to restore those folders to their original location I receive a message saying I can't do it.
This is the process I used:
To restore a folder to its original location
1. Click the Start button , and then click your user name. [WORKED]
2. Right-click the folder that you previously redirected and want to restore to its original location, and then click Properties. [WORKED]
3. Click the Location tab, click Restore Default, and then click OK. WORKED
4. Click Yes to recreate the original folder, and then click Yes again to move all the files back to the original folder. [DID NOT WORK]
What can I do to move the folders I put on my external HD back to the HD of my laptop?

Right-click on the folder on the removable drive and select Copy.
Navigate to the path on the hard drive (i.e. C:\Users\<Your User Name>\Documents)
Open the "parent folder" (i.e. Documents), right-click and select Paste.
The result will be C:\Users\<Your User Name>\Documents\The Folder You Copied
