Looks like it will be rolled into Malwarebytes Anti-Malware...

It might take a while and not all features might make it but they should improve detection and removal rates with it. Good move.

I wonder if when they do get it up and running whether you'll have more say in what it removes.

That's exactly what I hope they'll be working on, to get consistency with the way Mbam works, they'd have to do that. Log first, study, select what needs removing. Some of us use 'PUPS' on a regular basis for legitimate reasons.

Just a matter of being able to change them from PUPs to DWPs (Definitely Wanted Programs). All such MBAM-a-like programs should have this feature, but not all do.

Perhaps the largest benefit for JRT's discoveries within MBAM will be MBAM's quarantine feature and the ability to return everything back to the way it was when warrented.

Then, if real False Positives (FP) are reported back to the Malwarebytes' Research Center, some of the industries finest minds can react quickly to make things right. The same team quickly evaluates new threats for rapid blacklisting

MBAM already allows you to create exceptions. If the new feature is truly integrated, I can't see a problem.
