All updates needed to get win 10

I bought an HP laptop ( win 7 Pro, downgraded from 8.1 ) and once I got things setup on it, I cloned the drive so that I can fall back to it if win 10 is not for me. I put the cloned HDD in this morning and it seems to be working ok so my next step will be to download all the prerequisites for getting win 10 and reserve it.
If I understand it correctly, I will need KB2952664, KB3050265, KB3068708, and KB3035583. Is that all of the prerequisites?
    Thanks

Rather than clone you should make an image backup. Then you can use the backup disk for other backups as well.

Let Windows Update install everything and it will sort out any requirements - MS keep changing / re-releasing the upgrade patches.

    Thanks Paul T,
I cloned the original so that if win 10 doesn't work out, I can just do a HDD swap and I'm back where I started.
As to the KB's, all of those are in "Optional" on WU's so I would have to manually install them unless you are suggesting that I just wait until Win 10 is offered?

Actually, after reading this article, I may wait.

I will wait at least 6 months before even thinking about an upgrade.

    cheers, Paul
