Anomaly in Office 2016 Preview Maybe Win 10?

    Hey Y'all,

Since we don't have an Office 2016 forum and this might be a Win 10 problem anyway I thought I'd post it here.

When you right click on Excel 2016 in the Start Menu you get this:
    W10Start.JPG
    Notice no Jump List!

However, if you click on Excel icon pinned to the task bar you get this:
    W10TaskBar.JPG
    Jump List as expected.

    It's probably a FEATURE!

Not sure what the query is here or the "problem". The behavior you show is exactly what it should be & what would/should be expected. If I have missed something in what you're saying or asking (that's certainly possible) please, do tell.

Do you have jump lists on your start window in 8.1 RG or indeed on other tiles in 10? I don't in 8.1 so wonder if I've missed something in 8.1....

    Sorry guys my BAD!

I'm so used to having StartIsBack in Win 8.1 I forget it's there so I was expecting this in Win 10 TP.

And that's when you hover over the Excel icon not when you right-click. Right-clicking gets the same as the Win 10 TP image I posted.

I just shouldn't try this stuff late at night...(yes for us retired people 9:00pm is late!).
