    Ethernet Cable Question

I am changing mainframes from a HP tower to a smaller Dell Tower. Would the Current HP tower Ethernet cable be transferable to the Dell tower ??

Also how does one pull the Ethernet cable out of its port ??. It is very tightly positioned and does not want to come out.

Thanks for any help ... Theodore

    Theodore,

Yes you can transfer the cable. There is a little tab on the RJ-45 connector that needs to be depressed into the connector to release it.
