    Colouring boxes in Access Reports

    Hi
I need help. My VBA skills are basic and I have tried for a day to do the following but with no luck.
In Access 2013 I want to run a report which contains a box (or line) that I want to colour based on a department colour. I have the RGB values in the query Iím running the report off. In three fields called R, G & B.
Any ideas how I add code to a box/line (in the report) so that it colours the box/line on preview/print and what the code should be?

For a box, are you coloring the border or the background?

Here's one example: Me.YourControlName.BorderColor=RGB(YourRedValue, YourGreenValue, YourBlueValue)
