Some mad ( at myself )

I got taken ! I was offered a Java upgrade by a look-alike screen from Java and I am now plagued by spam. I get offers, adds from HS (?) to click here and there for improvement to my machine. Only the desktop is affected. I am now running msert on it to see what gives. That spam also deleted my Restore and I had neglected to do a clone in the last week.
When on this site, ( Win-10 ) some of the words are highlighted in green and hovering on any, will offer some add again to improve my machine, very professional looking from Microsoft too.
If anybody ever got caught as I did by my stupid click, what was your complete solution. Here is the occasion for me to do a clean install of 10162, no .iso of 10166. Oh well !
Going to look for "Adds by HS "

    This is the invite :Spam.jpg

    All best wishes. Jean

Adwcleaner is quite useful in this regard, but not having Java to begin with goes a long way.
