    Angry Can't search for Cortana

    Hi all;
    Many thanxx for all the past help you have given me.

    I am not having any luck setting up Cortana. I have even tried shouting at her, but alas nothing happens.
    Instructions I found refer to clicking in search box. Unfortunately that does nothing. First thought was that I never set a default search program. No luck there either, can not find search options in settings..

    Anybody have any ideas of how to get search and Cortana working again..??

    Thanxx in advance,
    Peter

    Thanks Simon, but this does not seem to be my problem, the START button works fine,,,
    UPDATE,,,
    When I login using a local guest account, not connected with my microsoft account, everything seems to work fine. I guess I need to try to track down a problem with my outlook.com account.

    Yet Another Update...
    Thanxx Joe;
    When I search for Cortana in settings, it brings up a few choices, The first choice is labeled "Cortana and Search Settings" which just disappears when I select it.

    I wish I could find settings for Search Box...
    Thanxx..

    When you clicked on Cortana and Search Settings, how long did you wait.

    I just tried clicking on it, and it took so long to respond, that I started to say that it didn't respond for me either. But it did.

    PS. When I clicked on it a second time, it responded much more quickly.

    Prescott;
    Thanxx for the info, I have waited 3 Min, and nothing. The search box seems to change to a lighter shade of grey, but that is all it does. Seems strange that this works fine if I am using a local guest account, but not me Microsoft account...
