    Mobile Broadband Treated as Ethernet and Eating Data

    I have a Vodafone mobile broadband USB dongle. It shows up as Ethernet and MS forces updates. So it has chewed through my expensive data.

    This forced updating means it's impossible to use Windows 10. Have to roll back again.

    I tried all the solutions on the net. None of them work.

    You need to sign into your MS account to use the feedback app. I've also noticed a lot of the apps cannot be uninstalled now. I hate MS taking over my computer like this. I'll roll back to 8.1. Their whole agenda is to convert a background workhorse o/s into a foreground marketing tool. I thought I could turn off the stuff I don't want, but it's not possible, and they will continue expanding their agenda.
