    Problem opening Office 2013 files

Directory Opus double-click will not successfully open Office 2013 documents says 'Microsoft Word has stopped working' but if I make a shortcut on the desktop to the file it works OK. If I use PowerDesk or File Explorer to open it works OK. Thank you.

Are you running Windows 8.1? Fully updated? Are you running the most current version of Directory Opus? Light or Pro?

Are you using the click-to-run install of Office or the traditional MSI install? Some programs do not play well with click-to-run.

Not sure, assuming it is the traditional MSI install. Thank you Joe.

Sorry, but I don't know. Have you contacted Directory Opus support?
