Upgrade to Windows 10 Home - Status: Failed

Ever since 8/2/15, I have been receiving this entry in my Windows Update History.

The only problem is that I never requested updating to Windows 10.

    I'm currently using WIN 8.1.

Has anyone else checked their Windows Update History and found the same message?

I have two PCs. The older one I've upgraded to 10 by requesting the download. I too had that error message and was able to successfully upgrade via the ISO method (as recommended in a number of threads). The other one I haven't yet asked to update and I have no failure messages. Are you sure you didn't inadvertently click something that reserved your copy?

Actually, I don't remember asking it to install on the older PC either, it just seemed to come up with these fail messages. So I wonder if it's waiting for you to click something to say 'now install', and only then would it be successful. But one clicks so many things at times like this so perhaps my memory is faulty.
