Safe to delete older System Restore points?

    Hi, all.

Are System Restore points self-contained snapshots, or do they build incrementally on the restore points that came before? I ask, because CCleaner makes it possible to selectively delete individual restore points.

    Put another way:

    Suppose I have 8 restore points, which we'll call "A" through "H". If I delete points "A" through "E," are points "F", "G" and "H" still good?

    Thanks!

Yes, each Restore Point is 'stand-alone'. Depending upon settings the System Restore doesn't save many, take up space on the HDD or Partition. I disable System Restore for partition that contain the factory restore files, helps eliminate messages about that partition being full.
