Using IE to go to web editior

Now I can view my website on IE on Yahoo and if I want to edit it I click on "File" then "Edit with Microsoft Front Page" and that brings me to the Front Page program.
Why can I not do that with FireFox or Google when using IE?
Is this going to be a problem with Edge?

You have 2 or 3 different Browsers open at the same time? It usually isn't a problem as I've done it with those open along with SeaMonkey and Torch. Each competing Browser does thing a bit differently from each of the others, no 'one size fits all'. Could also be where the Edit button is located, may be on Yahoo's page instead of on IE itself?

Yes, probably because all support for FrontPage and Office 2003 and earlier was discontinued in April 2014 along with support for Windows XP.
