    BuiltInRestoreUitracing

    Hello all,
this is my first post and I hope someone could please explain this Event "BuiltInRestoreUitracing failed to start." I have Windows 7 Pro, SP1.

    Dell Precision T3500.

Unfortunately, that is all I remember of the error, I used CCleaner and it cleared all Event entries,

As far as I can tell "BuiltInRestoreUitracing" is some kind of malware or PUP (Potentially Unwanted Program).

Thanks Coochin, I have done a complete scan with Malwarebytes, and found nothing. Also scan with SuperAntispyware and came up clean.

Is it listed in a Boot Log and has the error returned with subsequent reboots ?

Sometimes items can be started but generate a fail message when Windows tries to start them again because they are already started.

Does MS give any explanation/solution when you click on the blue online help link in Event Viewer ?
