When to upgrade the Windows 10 installation media?
Using the Microsoft tool to download and burn an install DVD or USB stick works great.
I downloaded the combo 32/64 version which is almost 6 GB in size.
To create this media you need an 8 GB USB drive or a DVD-DL (DVD Double layer) media.
The question I have is when should one download and build new media?
I'm guessing after the rumored major upgrade coming in October would be one reason.
Are there enough changes going on to warrant new media on a more frequent bases?
Thanks in advance.

That would be a logical time to rebuild the installation media, after the next build is released through the Retail Update channel. I presume that it would be made available through the media creation tool shortly thereafter.Create a fresh drive image before making system changes, in case you need to start over!
