    Windows 10 backup sofware

    I would like to know whether there is any built in software on Windows 10 to select the folders one wants to backup to an external hard drive

    Depending on which folders you want to back up, you might try selecting "File History", "Settings", "Update and Security", "Backup", "Backup using File History", (turn on "automatically backup my files"), "More Options" (then choose the backup options such as the folder(s) you wish to back up and how frequently, how long you want to keep older backups, folders to exclude from backups etc; and the target drive to save the backups)
