Lost and found: Windows 10's safe mode

    By Tracey Capen

Windows 10 might be a significant improvement over Windows 8, but it still possesses some of its predecessor's dual personality. That's most evident in Windows system settings, but it's also true of some built-in troubleshooting tools.

On my Windows 10 (upgrade from 7) msconfig is still available to get a Safe Boot on next restart from within Windows. That shift clicking on Power method is diabolical for people who for HEALTH reasons try to avoid point and click devices.

I've never known how you can get at msconfig with point and click - I just run it. Its title is System Configuration Utility.

Care to explain? (I honestly can't understand that comment.)
