Recent upgrade to Win 10 from 8.1, Office 2013 disappeared
When I did my upgrade to Win 10 from 8.1, my Office 2013 disappeared. I did a full recovery back to Win 8.1 once I figured out how, and was able to reinstall my Office 2013. Windows did NOT ask for my license key for Office 2013.
So, why did Office 2013 disappear?

@HefeBierbaum. I had the same problem when I tried the Win 10 Tech Preview. I ran Office 2013 "Repair" (accessed via Programs and Features and selecting "Change" (NOT "remove"!!!, and after a few moments all was back in place. (I had to re-activate Office, but that went smoothly). Alternatively, you can run Setup from the Office 2013 installation disk and choose "Repair" to get the same result. It seems that Office was not actually removed, but that it had been made temporarily invisible by Win 10).
