How do I REMOVE a program

When I attempt to REMOVE a program that does NOT work
(M/S Train Simulator) The UNINSTALL process starts but then it hangs up and freezes the computer so that I have to ReBoot to get to anything else. Is there some way I can Remove/Delete the program and its associated files?

Re: How do I REMOVE a program

It is an uneasy task - to remove deeply integrated Microsoft program from Windows, if its original Uninstall utility doesn't work. You have a few options:

    1. If you have a backup made before Simulator installation, restore it.
    2. Use third-party utility (like McAfee UnInstall) to remove Simulator.
    3. Manually delete Simulator program files, shortcuts and Registry entries.
    4. Live everything as it is and forget about Simulator.

    Hi
In case the uninstaller has broken, if you can, re-install fully the offending program, then try to unistall it again.

Re: How do I REMOVE a program

Thank you very much for your very prompt response. I used Norton Utilities Wipe program and seem to have removed all traces of the offending program. I can't find any evidence of it anywhere. It was a tedious job having to remove or WIPE each individual file, but it worked.. Thanx again.
