Thumbs up Windows 10 email concerns

Since upgrading from 7 to 10, emails older than 1 month not shown. Before upgrade I could see emails up to 2 years old or older if not deleated or placed in folder.
I don't see any place where I can make selection in settings to show older emails.
other than this problem, I really like Windows 10.

    Joe,

I am using Outlook that came with Windows 10 upgrade.

Since I posted my question, I used Internet Exployer to check my mail and was suprised to see all my old emails. I was using Internet Exployer before upgrading, but changed to Outlook which was supposed to be
better than Internet Exployer when I upgraded and was disappointed to only see the last 30 days of mail.
I would like to use Outlook, but I don't know how to fix. I'll use Internet Exployer in the meantime.

It sounds like you are using the Mail program that comes with Windows 10. Go to Settings (the gear at the bottom of the left pane), select Accounts, click on your account, when the account settings dialog opens click on "Change mailbox sync settings", change "download email from" to a value from the dropdown.

Outlook is copying your mail to your PC, but only X days worth. If you don't want to store your mail on your PC go back to using a browser.

    cheers, Paul
