    callinga function (office 97)

    I have a function

    Public Function TrnsToXls()
    DoCmd.TransferSpreadsheet acExport, acSpreadsheetTypeExcel97, "Find All Issues by Selected
    Criteria2", "C:WINNTProfilesEdward SantevecchiDesktopFind All Issues By Selected Criteria2.xls"
    End Function

    If i create it as a click event for a command button it works fine. However, if i try to call this function on a click of a command button i get an EXPECTED VARIABLE OR PROCEDURE, NOT A MODULE ERROR. My sub looks like this:

    Private Sub cmdExp_Click()
    TrnsToXls
    End Sub

    What am i doing wrong with my calling of the function. Thanks

    Since this pertains to the question in <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.wopr.com/cgi-bin/w3t/showthreaded.pl?Cat=&Board=acc&Number=104021&page= 0&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=186&fpart=>this thread</A> I'm going to lock this one down. Any responses should be posted to the other thread.
