Angry Windows update insisting on install

Windows 10 is sending me messages insisting that I install mouse and keyboard updates. My mouse and keyboard are working just fine. How do I tell Microsoft to ignore these two updates completely? I don't see a choice to ignore, although I can dismiss each individual message.

I've followed those directions, restarted my computer, and still see "Waiting for install" when I look at Windows Update.
Microsoft - Pointing Drawing - Microsoft Hardware USB Mouse
Microsoft - Keyboard - Microsoft Hardware USB Keyboard

I have an MS wireless comfort keyboard 1.0A and mouse with Intellitype and Intellipoint software. I am concerned that the update will interfere with "My Favorites" settings on the top row of my keyboard
