    Multiselect listbox (access 97)

Some of you might have read something similar to this before. I have received a few anwsers but since i am lost i have tried to make it a little simpler and will work out piece by piece.

I am wondering how to allow multiselect with a query. I have a form with 6 listboxes. I set the listbox select properties to extended. However, when you select more than 1 value in a listbox the query will not work and will produce nothing. Since multiselect is enabled in access, how do you make it work with a query. I am ignorant with most VB, especially something like this. Details are extremly helpful for me as is some sample code. Thank you in advance.

PS- for those of you who helped with the radio buttons addition i wanted ( Charlotte <img src=/S/smile.gif border=0 alt=smile width=15 height=15> ) thanks but i need to get step 1 down first.

    Re: Multiselect listbox (access 97)

Do you make selections from one or more of the List boxes? If so then I would suggest that you take a look at this article for information on how to create a dynamic query.

    <A target="_blank" HREF=http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q136/0/62.asp?LN=EN-US&SD=gn&FR=0&qry=q136062&rnk=1&src=DHCS_MSPSS_gn_ SRCH&SPR=ACC97>http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/ar..._SRCH&SPR=ACC97</A>

Next, since you are selecting muliple items from the List boxes you will need to use the In() statment in your query and this article will help you with that.

I do not think that what you want to do is going to be a cake walk, but you can do it!
