Command Button - Link to Report (2000)

I am trying to set up a command button on a page to link to an existing report. According to the help instructions I have done the following:
Turned off the Control Wizard in the toolbar
Placed a command button on the page
Chose properties for the command button to build the hyperlink address

In the properties box there is no value for hyperlink or link or even build hyperlink listed. I have absolutely no idea where build the expression.....is there something I am not seeing?
Please help me find where I am to build the link. Thanks!

Re: Command Button - Link to Report (2000)

Do you want to open a report from a data access page, or do you mean a form or a page in a form?

If you want to open a report from a form with a command button and a hyper link then:

As you say switch the control wizard off

Draw the command button on your form, it will be given a name automatically something like command0 or command1 etc.

Right click on it and select properties, format, and then place your cursor in the box marked hyperlink address.

A button will appear with 3 dots in, I believe it
