    Very old PendingDeletes entries

Windows 7 temporarely stores some files in to this folder, for example when installing Windows updates, and they are eventually removed. But there are some (28) files from 2009 (all the same date). They must be from the time this OS was first installed by the computer manufacturer or whoever. I just wonder if those entries could be safe to remove? They seems to locked though, but i think they can be deleted somehow if wanted.

I recommend not manually messing with anything having to do with WinSXS unless you are prepared to restore your system from an image backup. Try using the Disk Cleanup tool. After the initial scan click on the "Clean up system files" button. After that scan, check the appropriate boxes for what you want to clean.

Joe, ok. I guess it will be better to leave them there, since they don't take much disk space. I don't think they are any problem.
