What program are you using to burn?

It's possible the iso itself is corrupted.

Try dragging another file to the DVD drive icon and see if burning actually works at all.

I get the same error in Windows 10 when I try to use my SATA DVD burner. I can burn disks fine in Windows 7 using the same hardware. I temporarily connected an IDE burner and it works fine in both Windows 7 and Windows 10. I suspect a Windows 10 hardware compatibility problem with my SATA burner. You may have the same problem with yours and Windows 7. Check to see if there is a firmware update for your DVD burner.
