OL2K folder question (OL 2000 9.0.0.2711)

I am using OL 2000 and have rules set up to send mail to a certain folder. When I "reply" to an e-mail from within that folder, it sends it but it also sends a copy to the same folder like a new e-mail. Is there anyway to stop this?

Try:
Move to the window in rules:
Add any exceptions (if necessary)
select
Except if from people or distribution list
and add yourself.

(You may need to add yourself to your own PAB.)

tools > options > email button > advanced button > save copy in folder with original.

Could it not be, that your reply gets saved in that same folder. It is an advanced e-mail option to enable to save in the folder where you reply from or always in the sent items folder.
Hope this helps...

Eddy, that's it exactly. Can this be turned off and have it saved in the "sent" folder like all the others?

Sorry I am late, but yes you can turn it off, like MaryJ says in her previous post.
