    Experteer

I'm a freelance medical writer and editor. Recently, Experteer approached me to become a paid customer. They claimed that this would help me get my resume and other information into the hands of a large number of European recruiters.

After checking this out online, I recommend others take a good look at this outfit before paying them for their wonderful services.

csmart4125 - Your post looks like good advice.

Online opinions appear to be variable... reviews on Trustpilot from Experteer customers appear to be very critical whilst even reviews from Experteer employees are not alway favourable.

I would steer clear of "pay to play" job search resources...all of the recruiters I have worked with in the past are paid by the companies that have contracted their services.

CareerBuilder.com has international scope for job seekers, and is free.

SimplyHired.com and Indeed.com are job site aggregators, so doing searches on either site will hit most of the major job boards. Both are free.

Forbes recommends JournalismJobs.com for writing and PR type positions. At first glance, I didn't see a pay wall anywhere.

Also, consider joining LinkedIn. They have both free and paid services, but it is not required for a member to pay to access job openings.

    Good luck!
