Windows 10 cannot find proxy every reboot

When I reboot my Windows 10 system it does not have any connectivity. The troubleshooter says it could not find the proxy (which I don't think I have) and it resets a "virtual" network to fix the problem. How do I fix this so I don't have to run the troubleshooter after every reboot?

A home system is unlikely to have a proxy, it normally finds everything via your router. Do you have an unusual set up?

    cheers, Paul

There are some proxys for the home user. I have the American Family Filter, and it operates by having two IP addresses in the router, which I believe could be described as a "proxy".

Perhaps something has hijacked his computer?
