    W10 on the cheap!

Just looked at Newegg, no keyboard or monitor. Guess I will not be taking the jump.

$99 including a dock and you can get a second dock for $39 more. It sound cheap until you figure in the cost of a screen, keyboard, and mouse. Then compare that to something like the latest ASUS Transformer which goes for about $300 with 3 times the battery life and doubles as a tablet.

It looks like another solution looking for a problem, and I can remember at least two earlier micro-PCs of similar size.

I'm sure that there is a market, but I'm not really seeing it.

Let's say you can pickup a small monitor, keyboard, and mouse for under $100. You've now got a sub $200 PC - which isn't bad. I rather doubt you could get another PC for that price.

But for it to be truely portable, you'd need to spend another $100 for another small monitor, keyboard, and mouse for your other location. Now you are into the small laptop price range.

If you have a KVM switch, you could use this device as a 2nd PC. For example, if you want to test Windows 10 without fully committing to it, this would be a cheap way to do it.

Personally, I don't have room on my desk for a 2nd monitor/mouse/keyboard, so that would actually be a good solution for me.

Monitors are becoming very cheap. You could get a nice, big monitor for maybe $150. Mouse and keyboard are about $10 each.

You could always go to the Goodwill and get a cheap monitor, mouse, and keyboard.
