IE 11 won't allow Acrobat Reader Document Cloud page to open

This morning there was a pop-up in the notification area on win 7 Pro from Adobe offering an upgrade to Adobe Acrobat Reader DC. So I clicked on it and then when the window opened, I clicked on "More Info" which opened my default browser ( IE 11 ) to the Adobe page.
Evidently it's Adobe's "Document Cloud" program that they are pushing now.
As soon as it opened the Adobe page, IE 11 said it had to close. The best I can figure out is that there was a bad pop-up on the page that IE 11 refused to allow. I tried it a couple of times and all the same results.
Just wondering if anyone else ran into this?

ARDC is the standard update for AR now.

I have v2015.009.20071 installed since 17th Oct. but checking the adobe site, it lists it as .20069 for both the US and UK

I just got the update for .20069 a few minutes ago and there's an update for that downloading now, haven't seen the version number yet.

The latest update version is .20077, just finished. It does have quite a change of appearance.

"As soon as it opened the Adobe page, IE 11 said it had to close".

Check the Windows Event logs for errors related to IE.

In Control Panel, navigate to Administrative Tools and click on Event Viewer.

Expand the Custom Views folder and click on Administrative Events.

The Administrative Events contain Warnings, Errors, and Critical events from all event logs.

I've just been to adobe.com and it's still showing for .20069 for both the UK and US for me.
