    Way to bypass EMET.

Got the link from Slashdot. Pretty scary stuff.

I stopped using EMET a long time ago, and replaced it with Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit.

I tried EMET for a week-or-so about a year ago but found it slowed down my browsers too much, and some websites I have to use for my work stopped working.

I am not certain this exploit doesn't apply to bypass a lot more security programs than EMET.

What it does point to is the need for ASAP abandoning 32-bit apps on our 64-bit OS or perhaps running (sandboxing) them in a virtual setup. Not likely any time soon (when 128-bit OS on 128-bit CPUs start to show up lol).
