    Question Setting default views in Word 2013 - want "page width"

    Hi anyone know how to do this? I've tried saving dotm and specific documents.

    The view is remembered from one session to the next.

    If you want, you could save the following macros in your normal.dotm template and you will have the view you want whenever you create or open a document.

    Code:
    Sub SetPageWidth()
        ActiveWindow.ActivePane.View.Zoom.PageFit = wdPageFitBestFit
    End Sub

    Sub AutoNew()
        Call SetPageWidth
    End Sub

    Sub AutoOpen()
        Call SetPageWidth
    End Sub

    For information on how to put these macros on your system, see Graham Mayor's page on Installing Macros.
