Remove a Search Engine from Edge

This has been driving us crazy, there are a million posts and YouTube videos on the Web describing how to add/change the Search Engine in Edge but not one describing how to remove one you're already added.

We teach a class using Windows 10 and one of the things we teach is how to add another Search Engine to Edge. When the class is over we want to remove whatever Search Engine was added so we can teach the next class.

No luck finding out how yet, any help appreciated.

    Thanks - jim

You might find some info in this How-To Geek article...

There is one screenshot example with a Remove button.

But that only removes potential additions from the list, not one you've already added.

Well, as I found out it's necessary to visit the Search Engine web page again otherwise it's not listed; it's as if you're going to add it. Then when you click Add it will be listed and you can then select it and Remove it.

I think that still only removes it from the list of possible additions, but not from the actually added ones (at least in my test).
