    File Explorer and Libraries

    I like Windows 10 (mostly), but miss the option I had in previous versions to open File Explorer directly to the Libraries view.
    Yes, I can put a "Libraries" link under Quick Access, but that takes an additional click (and I'm spoiled).

    Any tips on how to get File Explorer to open to the Libraries view?

    I removed the File Explorer icon from the Taskbar then created a Shortcut on the Desktop to the location I seemed to always go to, used Properties to change the icon to the yellow folder, then Pinned that shortcut to the Taskbar. Voila!, a single click to open.

    Chris,

    Copy this into the Target of a new Shortcut:
    %windir%\Explorer.exe /n,::{031E4825-7B94-4dc3-B131-E946B44C8DD5}.

    I tested this on both Win 8.1 Pro and Win 10 Pro Build 10586.

    Thanks to both of you. Just what I wanted.
    I think I used that method way back in the XP days, but I'm old and have forgotten most of what I knew!
