Uninstall Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007 to reinstall on different computer?

Computer: Dell Inspiron 530 Vista HP SP2 desktop.
It runs fine but my friend doesnít like the recommendations to upgrade his browser on many websites he visits as he uses IE9.
--- Iím trying to convince him to eventually purchase a Windows 10 computer.

He has Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007 and he has the disc for it.
I believe itís ok to uninstall it from his Vista computer and then install it onto the new Windows 10 computer
    --- Is that true?

Assuming it's the retail version, then yes it is. It's actually licensed for 3 computers in the same household. (In the UK, at any rate.)

I have a US copy of the same and the package is marked for 3 Home PC licenses.
